John Walker, Ph. D.

Dr. Walker earned his Ph.D. from the University of Indiana. After graduation, he joined the pharmaceutical industry. For numerous years he successfully led discovery projects in a variety of therapeutic areas. Ultimately, he decided to pursue a career in academia where he enjoys educating and mentoring the minds of young scientists. As a born and bred St.Louisian, he loves all things St. Louis, from the Cardinals to barbeque and everything in between.

Napoleon D'Cunha, Ph. D.

Dr. Napoleon D'Cunha received his doctorate in chemistry from Clark Atlanta University and his bachelor's from the University of Toronto. As an organic chemist he is involved in designing and synthesizing novel drugs that circumvent antibiotic resistant gram-negatice bacteria. He oversees the daily upkeep of the lab and the instruments. He enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is also an avid sports fan. 

Christiana Adeyemi, Ph. D.

Dr. Adeyemi earned her Ph. D. from Rhodes University in Organic Synthesis / Medicinal Chemistry. Her doctorate focused on identification of biological targets using computational approachs and synthesis of small molecules as therapeutic agents. Subsequently she joined the Walker Lab as a post-doc where she works on different projects and aids others in theirs. She is originally from Nigeria. Outside of lab, she enjoys spending time with her family and getting involved in volunteering activities. 

Rama Kinthada Ph. D.

Dr. Kinthada earned his Ph. D. from the University of Hyderabad, India. Afterward, he worked at Rutgers University and at the City College of New York. Subsequently, he joined the Walker Lab as a Post-doc where he also runs his own project. He is originally from India and spends his free time with his young loving family. 

Terri Bohem, Ph. D.

Dr. Bohem earned her Ph.D. at the University of Buffalo in upstate New York. Subsequently, she joined the pharmaceutical industry to advance therapeutic options for a variety of diseases. After a successful career, she pursued her other passion - golfing. She is an LPGA golf instructor. During the offseason, Dr. Bohem spends time in the Walker Lab synthesizing compounds, educating students, and sharing stories about her amazing experiences. 

Hinman Zhou

Hinman Zhou earned his B.S. in chemistry from Creighton University in Nebraska. He is a current graduate student in the Walker Lab learning the ins and outs of synthetic medicinal chemistry while working on the nuclear receptor Alzheimer's Disease project. Outside of the lab, he spends time with children who are on the Autism Spectrum. During his free time, he enjoys running, reading, and exploring the city.
